ABOUT LENNY

Lenny Lolis was born and raise in White Plains, raised in a family deeply rooted in the community. His father owned John's Texaco on East Post Road before later working at Burke Rehabilitation Center, and his mother, an immigrant from Monteleone, Italy, built a long career as an accountant.
Lenny raised his family, including his three daughters, in White Plains. His career spans more than two decades as a City of White Plains employee, serving under three mayors. He began in the Building Department as a code enforcement officer, helping clean up the Roger Smith Hotel situation and assisting in codifying city codes, ordinances, and procedures. Recruited by Mayor DelVecchio to assess technology citywide, he developed a comprehensive seven-year plan that reorganized tech usage, saved millions, and established the city’s first Information Technologies Department, where he served as its founding leader.
Lenny also co-conceived, designed, and implemented the city’s fiber optic network - connecting schools, public safety, finance, and every city department - while working closely with department heads to modernize operations. He was a founding member of the U.S. Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force and was loaned to the New York State Board of Education to advise the White Plains School District on technology upgrades.
After his public service career, Lenny was recruited into the banking industry as a Vice President, where he led teams to modernize platforms, improve infrastructure, and strengthen security systems.
Today, drawing on his extensive experience in both government and business, Lenny is committed to giving back to the community he has always called home. Grounded in his parents’ love for White Plains, he is focused on delivering smart, community-driven solutions to ensure the city thrives for future generations.
